May’s Club

I just wanted to share the cards that we did at club this month.  We always do a technique for the Technique Book and then do a card using the technique.   This month we ended up doing three cards because I wanted to share another technique.  The first card that we did was a Pansy Card using the technique of Reinkers, Shimmery White Card Stock and the Butterfly Punch.                             

I originally learned how to do this technique by the video on Dawn Olchefske blog.  Click on her name and you can go right to a video that she made.  The center  was stamped with the stamp from the Greenhouse Garden stamp set on page 94.  I can't wait to play with this set a little more.   I have an idea that I am dying to try out.   I got the seed template from Judy Marshall.

The second card we did was the Stained Mosaic Technique and the new Elements in Style stamp set that can be found in the new Summer Mini.       

It is a very versatile stamp set.  We had to colour the stamp and then used a homemade stamp to give the effect of the Mosaic Background.  I learned this technique from Splitcoast Stampers. The last card that we did was a Father's Day/Masculine card.  It was very simple but it showed off the new Square Lattice Embossing Folder          .

It also shows off the new Double Cogs Punch and the Single Motorcycle stamp.  That's all for today.  I have lots of pictures of cards to share with you in the near future.
